 I grew up in Rochester, New York loving sports, people and having a desire to be successful. I felt money and prestige would bring me happiness and fulfillment. With this in mind, I entered college and then law school. At a party midway through law school someone told me I could make a lot of money fast being a stockbroker. That was what I wanted to hear. I quit law school and became a broker in Wichita, Kansas. Soon I was making more money than my father and running around with very influential people. Then something shocking occurred. I had what I thought I wanted and yet was still unfulfilled. Then one night on a "stranger's living room couch" I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I can still remember how I felt as if it was yesterday. It was Awesome!
Jesus changed my life. He gave me purpose, peace and joy, which has never left me. I am a preacher because I love to tell the story of how Jesus can change lives. I have been preaching for many years, and have been here at FBC for 12 years now. I love the Word of God and every week I try to show how the Scripture is relevant to our everyday lives.
